WordPress 4.7 “Vaughan” was released today and is named after jazz legend Sarah “Sassy” Vaughan.

What’s New in WordPress 4.7?

New Default Theme – Twenty Seventeen

WordPress 4.7 has a new theme that is pretty different from the previous theme. Twenty Seventeen focuses on business sites rather than bloggers. It also features a multi-section front – page customizable. You can personalize it with widgets, social menus, logo, and more.

REST API Content Endpoints :

The REST API endpoints were finally merged to the WordPress Core. Now creating flexible websites and applications is much easier.

This version also brings a ton of new features like user admin languages, improved PDF support, improved customizer and much more.
